How to Reset your SMART+ Contact and Temperature SensorIf you are having trouble pairing your Motion and Temperature Sensor, or it fails to respond to commands, you may need to reset the sensor and re-pair it to your system. To do this, watch the video or follow the instructions below.
- Remove the device from your smart home set up.
- Remove the battery from your motion sensor, and leave it out for at least 6 seconds.
- Locate the gray button on the left hand side of the sensor. Hold down this button while simultaneously re-inserting the battery.
- Continue holding down the button for an additional 3 seconds until the light starts flashing blue, indicating that it has been reset and is in pairing mode.
